There are potential benefits and costs to you if States implement new programs to sustain or improve the quality of rivers and streams near you through the adoption of best management practices (BMPs). Researchers at the University of Connecticut, on behalf of the United States Department of Agriculture, seek to understand your preferences regarding water quality and the associated co-benefits tied to potential alterations in agricultural land when best management practices are applied.
